So, you may be wondering, what is a “Legacy Event”? And what is, “One Girls Passion, Another Girls Pain”?

“Danielle’s Legacy” was birthed out of a passion and request that Danielle made to me as her mom just months before she was tragically killed in an auto accident. You can read more about Danielle and her Legacy under, “Danielle’s Legacy”.

“One Girls Passion, Another Girls Pain” is a Purity Event that took place one year after the earthly death of Danielle. This event took place with the thought that it would be a one time event that would take place on the one year anniversary death date or as we like to call it, “Danielle’s Homecoming”, the date that Danielle met her True Groom Jesus Christ. I as her mom just had to follow through with her request as well as her passion to share purity to ladies. Our first Purity event took place on Saturday August 20th, 2005.

This event that we thought would be just a one time event has become an annual event that has grown to be far more than just a another Purity Event or Purity Study.

Danielle’s Legacy Event has grown and changed from just another Purity Event but to more of a Wedding Theme for ladies of all seasons of life and for ladies ages 12 years- to the oldest lady alive. Danielle’s Legacy Event teaches some and reminds many that Jesus is our True Groom. Our events have far more to do with living a life pleasing to our True Groom. Living a life of purity is for all ladies yet it can be so very hard in todays world. The title Purity event can be such a turn off and it really does not describe our true purpose in these events.

We use a wedding theme to draw us to a closer relationship with Jesus so that we can become beautiful brides inside and out. Jesus is coming soon and we want to be a bride waiting for His arrival.

Our Legacy Events include testimonies and teaching from women of all walks of life, sinful pasts as well as new life that has been restored and made beautiful. We provide hope for the hurting and encouragement to ladies who are currently living a life of purity. We do teach abstinence as well as hope to everyone, no matter how much guilt, shame or pain is taking place in our life.

Our events are filled with a full day of testimonies, raffle drawings, worship, and guest speakers. Our Legacy Events include lunch – Pizza, Salads, Fruit and Dessert.

We end our Legacy Events with encouragement and worship as we each have the opportunity to make a commitment to become brides for Christ and walk away with a white gerber daisy to remind us to live a life pleasing to our True Groom Jesus Christ
